Our Counseling Story

Elizabeth Pierson has been a licensed clinical social worker for 17 years providing mental health services for all ages throughout her career. After graduating with her MSW from the University of Wyoming, she worked in community mental health both as an inpatient psychiatric social worker and outpatient clinician. She went into private practice in 2008, and started Lukehart & Pierson Counseling in 2015. She worked in Gillette, WY for 15 years as a therapist, and opened her Indiana practice in 2022. She has extensive experience working with women’s health, severe and persistent mental illness, and older adults, including long term care, home health and hospice. Elizabeth works with families, couples and individuals, providing individualized care and a safe space for clients to work through their initial problems, personalized objectives, past trauma, and future goals. She continues to provide telehealth service to residents of Wyoming, and offers both telehealth or in person counseling.
